Founders
Stephen Eyre is a Co-Founder and Director of Quality and Safeguarding at Everyday Ability. With 30 years’ experience working in various roles in the human services industry, including as CEO of another provider, Stephen has a wealth of knowledge about what it takes to deliver top quality support to people living with disability.
Stephen chose to establish Everyday Ability with the other three Co-Founders because he wanted to make a difference for people who needed support by choosing to focus on their amazing abilities, rather than their disability. As Stephen says, he wants to “make sure that all people are treated equally in society.”
There are many things that Stephen loves about working with Everyday Ability, but what he loves most is having amazing people around him, including his three business partners, dedicated staff and the incredible participants that allow Everyday Ability to care for them.
Away from work, Stephen enjoys riding his motorbike, travelling in his caravan and spending time with his family who he says brings joy to his life everyday. He likes to say, “Life is one daring adventure or nothing at all,” which perfectly sums up his attitude to everything he does at work and in life.
